Calf Scramble and Ram Scramble

You do not have to register your child for the Scrambles. The announcer will let the audience know in advance when the kids should start lining up. There are specific directions in the day sheets as to where the kids should enter the arena.

Calf Scramble – for kids ages 6-12
Kids gather in the arena, the calf is let out into the arena and the kids chase it to grab the ribbon off its tail. The winner of this event receives a gift certificate for a pair of Wrangler children’s jeans

Ram Scramble – for kids ages 5 and under
The young ones compete the same as the big kids, however gentle sheep are used instead of calves. The winner of this event receives a $15 gift certificate from F.M. Light & Sons.
